Dear participant, dear visitor,
in view of our coming 32th Elsterlauf, I sincerely invite you to join on May the
24, 2009. Additionally, we celebrate the „19th Brunnenfest“ (well
celebration) the same weekend.
Our town is located in a district called „Elbe-Elster“, near the idyllic
river named „Schwarze Elster“ in between the green of the „Niederlausitzer Heidelandschaft“.
The small town belongs to the most traditional health resorts in the south of
Brandenburg.
With all its existing institutions for cures and wellness, the health resort Bad
Liebenwerda has become a centre for health and tourism.
Come and have you spoiled in the wellness area of the „Lausitztherme Wonnemar“,
relax in the epicure Centre for Health, take a walk through the beautiful park
near the „Haus des Gastes“ (House of Guests) with the possibility to play mini gulf
or chess, and go for a ride by bike through the green landscape around our town.
We’ve got something to do for everybody.
I wish all the best to all participants for the 32. Elsterlauf and i hope to
welcome you soon in our health resort Bad Liebenwerda.
